Your eyes crossed that button dozens of times. The flicker wipes the visual signal that normally screams “this moved”, so without knowing where to look, you don't see it. That's change blindness — and it's why I don't trust “someone will notice.” AccessAdvisor is that idea as software: it checks every line against the real spec, because the contrast bug nobody spots is the one that ships.
